Overview

The VA North Texas Health Care System is seeking a Pipefitter to work within the Engineering Department, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing facilities and equipment across various pressure systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing facilities and equipment including showers, sinks, toilets, and dishwashing machines.
  • Maintain and repair medical air, oxygen, vacuum, and gas systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair steam equipment throughout the hospital.
  • Repair laundry and dietetic equipment, including steam mains and hot water heaters.
  • Repair and replace defective gas and air lines.
  • Install and replace pipe covering.
