Overview

Valmont is seeking an experienced Welder to join their team, where they will contribute to the fabrication and repair of metal components for various structures. The company is a Fortune 1000 organization focused on advancing agricultural productivity and infrastructure while respecting hard work and diversity.

Responsibilities

• Fuse or weld metal structural components together using arc welding.
• Perform welding operations from blueprints or specifications with limited planning.
• Maintain and operate production tooling, fixtures, and welding equipment safely.
• May operate other machines in the shop as needed.

Requirements

• Two years of previous hands-on welding experience in a professional environment.
• Ability to pass welding hands-on test and written assessment.
• Ability to pass and maintain weld certification for AWS, CWB, and other customer certifications in GMAW welding.
• Ability to read and decipher blueprints and flat sheets without assistance.
• Knowledge of visual weld quality, penetration, and appearance for finished shafts.
• Knowledge of how to accurately read a measuring tape.

Additional Information

• Compensation: $28.13/hour ($26.13/hour + $2.00 Shift Differential).
• Available Shifts: 3rd shift, Sunday - Thursday 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
• Location: 28800 Ida St Valley Nebraska 68064-8016.
