Overview

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Process Maintenance Mechanic for their Goldstrike operation. The role involves managing and mentoring a maintenance team while ensuring a safe work environment and contributing to the company's vision of being the world's most valued gold mining business.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, lead and mentor a maintenance team.
• Repair and rebuild processing equipment in the Crusher area including pumps, piping, Gyro, Jaw Rebuilds, and Conveyor Belts.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance routes.

Requirements

• Four (4) years as a journeyman in industrial maintenance or two (2) years maintenance school (completed with certificate) preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in operating crushing/processing equipment including jaw, gyratory and cone crushers, and conveyor belts preferred.
• Ability to work from blueprints and drawings preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repair on all pumps, primary crushers, Omnicones and conveyor systems preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and rebuild gearboxes and pumps including centrifugal and positive displacement preferred.
• Experience in TIG and MIG welding stainless steel and titanium pipe preferred.
• Millwright skills to include hydraulic systems and alignments preferred.
• Excellent safety and attendance record required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job required.
