Overview
The Welder/Fabricator role involves performing various welding techniques on scaffold components and ensuring the integrity of materials. Candidates should have experience in welding and a commitment to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on scaffold frames, braces, platforms, and custom components.
- Inspect scaffold materials for damage and structural integrity.
- Fabricate custom metal parts according to specifications and drawings.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety standards.
- Collaborate with yard and field teams to meet project timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a welder, preferably in the construction or scaffold industry.
- Proficiency in MIG/TIG/stick welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Welding certification preferred but not required.
