Overview
Las Vegas based custom ornamental steel fabrication company is looking for a full-time Welder/Fabricator to join their growing team. The position is hourly, with pay dependent on industry experience, knowledge, and skill level. Applicants must have welding certification (minimum D1.1) and a Nevada Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and fabricate custom finished metal products.
- Fabricate and install commercial and residential gates, fence panels, stairs, and arch features.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Measure and cut materials to precise specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during fabrication and installation.
- Maintain an accurate daily record of time and progression for all company projects.
- Start and finish tasks in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years industry experience.
- Current welding certification (minimum D1.1).
- Must have personal welding gear including a hood, gloves, jacket, steel toe boots, and hand tools.
- Current NV Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Mig and/or Tig experience with mild steel and aluminum.
- Ability to work with attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to take direction and work independently.
