Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Fabricator and play a vital role in transforming raw materials into high-quality, precision-engineered components. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse fabrication projects, utilizing a wide array of tools and techniques to bring designs to life.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings to accurately fabricate components according to specifications.
• Operate various power tools and hand tools such as grinders, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and welding equipment including MIG.
• Perform welding operations adhering to AWS codes & standards.
• Use rigging equipment and forklift to move heavy materials safely within the fabrication area.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly handling tools and disposing of waste materials according to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly projects and support manufacturing processes from start to finish.
• Follow all safety procedures related to fabrication work, including the use of forklifts when necessary for material handling.

Requirements

• Hands-on fabrication background demonstrating familiarity with building environments.
• Proficiency in MIG welding.
• Ability to operate forklift effectively during material handling tasks.
• Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment with precision.
• Ability to read Shop Drawings accurately.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication dimensions.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently in a construction or manufacturing environment.
