Job Title: Ironworker

Location: Jackson, MS, United States

Pay Rate: $28–$32 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time | 50–55 Hours per Week (including some Saturdays)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Ironworkers for structural and metal building projects in Jackson, Mississippi.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel erection, rigging, and metal fabrication, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of ironworking tasks, including erecting structural steel, installing precast panels, and assembling metal buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
  • Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components.
  • Operate cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment to position and lift steel components safely.
  • Install rigging systems and hoisting equipment for lifting operations.
  • Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe job site.

• Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Ironworker or Structural Steel Erector.
  • Proficiency in metal building erection and rigging operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of steel construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.

• OSHA 10 certification required.

• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
