Overview

Redstone Construction Group is an employee-focused company looking for a Millwright to advance their construction career. The ideal candidate will perform various roles including fabrication, welding, and maintenance, while improving efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation.
• Possess knowledge of crushing, screening, and material handling equipment to troubleshoot or anticipate system problems.
• Build the foundation for machines.
• Construct and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails.
• Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
• Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards.
• Work with a range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding, and brazing equipment.
• Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
• Visit various construction sites.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience, training, and/or education.
• Must be able to weld and have strong maintenance-mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
• In-depth knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.

Additional Information

• This is a safety-sensitive position.
• Must be able to work nights.
• Work environment includes an office, facility with construction equipment inventory, repair/service shop, and construction job sites.
• Noise levels can be loud.
• Safety training required; PPE required outside of office/parking lot area.
• Occasional lifting may be required up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods with frequent bending and stooping.
