Job Description
Overview
The Welder position involves joining metals using GTAW and GMAW welding processes and cutting metals with Oxy-Fuel or plasma Arc cutting equipment. Candidates must be proficient in welding thin gage aluminum and capable of passing various welding tests per AWS codes and Military Standards.
Responsibilities
- Join metals using GTAW and GMAW welding processes.
- Cut metals using Oxy-Fuel cutting torch or plasma Arc cutting equipment.
- Receive instructions verbally or from job cards and/or detailed prints.
Requirements
- Proficient in welding thin gage aluminum with GTAW (Tig) and GMAW (Mig) processes.
- Ability to pass various welding tests per AWS welding codes and Military Standards and Specifications.
