Overview

Productivity Inc is a machine tool distributor based in Plymouth, MN, specializing in metalworking equipment, tooling, and safety and industrial supplies. The Customer Service Representative will provide product and technical information to support customers and the outside sales team.

Responsibilities

• Act as an Industrial Supply resource to customers by researching and sourcing products, recommending options, providing quotes, checking price and delivery, answering calls, and entering orders.
• Source alternate products if there are backorders.
• Collaborate with Industrial Supply Outside Sales and Sales Management to identify and grow opportunities.
• Retain customers by delivering and ensuring superior customer service.
• Help customers find the most effective Industrial Supply solution at the best value by advising on promotions, suggesting related products, and recommending in-stock products and brands.
• Help maintain supplier relationships with Industrial Supply and Safety products and attend product training.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required by the position.

Requirements

• Product knowledge in Safety, MRO/Industrial Supplies, and Abrasive Products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, research, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Capable PC/computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Google Searching.
• Ability to maintain a positive and productive work atmosphere.
