Overview
Atria Senior Living is seeking Housekeepers to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff. The company offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for advancement and a focus on employee well-being.
Responsibilities
- Clean public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
- Distribute laundered articles and linens.
- Change beds and clean public restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors; clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dust furniture and equipment, and polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Perform all laundry duties, including washing and drying resident laundry and textiles.
- Fold and/or hang laundry appropriately and distribute laundered articles and linens.
- Maintain resident laundry areas, including mopping floors and washing walls.
- Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
- Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
- Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies.
- Stock the cleaning cart with supplies.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area(s).
- Work with maintenance to ensure that the trash and dumpster areas are clean.
- Request maintenance work orders for any maintenance repairs needed.
- Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
- Report potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues promptly to Supervisor.
- May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Requirements
- Must successfully complete all Company specified training programs.
- Able to operate cleaning equipment such as iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
- Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
- General knowledge of sanitation.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills.

Additional Information
- Employees may receive annual anniversary rewards dependent on classification, starting at $500 for Full Time employees.
- Employees may be eligible to receive an Annual Scores Reward of $500 (Full Time) or $250 (Part Time) based on community survey results.
