Overview

Great Dane is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to join their expanding team, focusing on the highest safety standards in the industry. The role involves diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in production machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Listen for unusual sounds from machines to detect malfunctions.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and test machines to determine root causes of malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines to access problem areas.
• Install new or repaired parts in defective machines.
• Inspect and measure parts for wear or misalignment.
• Replace worn or defective parts in drive mechanisms or hydraulic systems.
• Realign and adjust components such as spindles and clutches.
• Locate and repair damaged air and hydraulic pipes on machines.
• Test machines following repairs to ensure proper operation.
• Set up and operate metalworking tools to repair or fabricate parts.
• Clean and lubricate machinery components.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Assemble and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
• Fabricate and repair counters, benches, and other structures.

Requirements

• Ability to use pneumatic power tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and other measuring tools.
• Ability to work with hands in mechanically oriented situations.

• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Additional Information

• Work schedule is Monday-Thursday, with 1st shift from 7:00AM-5:30PM.
