Overview

Eagle Foods is a diversified food company with a rich heritage, producing and marketing various food products for over 150 years. The Maintenance Technician role involves responding to maintenance calls, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure continuous production.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production floor maintenance calls from machine operators as needed.
• Perform maintenance tasks to ensure continuous production.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery as needed.
• Read blueprints, instruction manuals, and mechanical drawings.
• Rework and rebuild mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on all plant equipment and machinery.
• Set-up and operate all types of production equipment and machine tools such as lathes, mills, and welders.
• Follow all aspects of the lock out/tag out program.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of mechanical/electrical technician experience.
• Fluency in English & Spanish preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Fork-lift operation experience preferred.
