Overview
Founded in 1985, ATS is a company with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom, specializing in Industrial Maintenance to enhance factory operations. The Maintenance Specialist role involves expert-level maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
Responsibilities
- Performs expert level break-fix & preventive maintenance and design of mechanical and electrical equipment improvements.
- Provides troubleshooting support on equipment and technical support on production lines.
- Maintains in-depth technical knowledge of numerous systems.
- Programs, troubleshoots, and analyzes complex control systems.
- Utilizes predictive equipment for analysis and proactive maintenance.
- Leads and participates in continuous improvement activities.
- Identifies and sources parts, supplies, and repair items.
- Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
- Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards.
- May setup and operate multiple machining operations.
- Studies and investigates technical methods and innovations for maintenance practices.
- Prepares input for cost analysis for new equipment and proposals.
- Updates records and reviews CMMS history.
- Provides technical content for sales quotations and performs T&M duties.
- Trains and coaches less proficient technicians.
- Completes on-the-job training and technical self-study programs.
- Follows all safety related policies and identifies unsafe behaviors.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
- Associates degree with a Technical focus and 7 years of related experience or 10 years of experience in specific industry.
- Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis.
- Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
- Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools.
- May be required to travel.
- Six Sigma experience desired.
