Overview

The Automotive Technician role involves conducting vehicle diagnostics and performing maintenance services to meet company standards and deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process on every guest vehicle.
• Assist in inventory management, including pulling tires and parts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure it is guest ready.
• Perform services in accordance with Monro's safety standards.
• Test drive vehicles following Monro's Road Test policy.
• Adhere to company policies and governmental standards.
• Maintain technical knowledge through Monro University training.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or equivalent experience.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
• Must possess a current valid driver's license.
• Required to own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro's tool purchase program.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
