Overview
The Senior Fabricator position involves interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, fabricating and assembling materials, and operating various machinery. The role requires strong technical skills in welding and metalworking processes, along with a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine required materials and dimensions.
- Cut, bend, fold, punch, shear, and weld materials to specifications.
- Operate equipment, including saws, laser cutters, press brakes, and CNC machinery.
- Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and soldering to join components securely.
- Inspect finished products, measure components for accuracy, and troubleshoot to ensure functionality.
- Adhere to strict safety standards, maintain a clean workspace, and calibrate tools.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of metalworking processes, welding techniques, and machine operation.
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
- High level of physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix faulty components.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or welding is typically required.
