Responsibilities

• Reports on items including garbage, recycling, yard waste containers, vehicle assemblies, and facilities components.
• Repairs, modifies, or fabricates a variety of metal work.
• Cuts, fits, and welds using gas and electric equipment.
• Performs skilled brazing and soldering.
• Uses a variety of machines and equipment in and out of repair areas.

Requirements

• At least one year of welding, fabrication, and painting experience.
• Knowledge of tools and methods of gas and electric welding.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to take and understand oral instructions.
• Reliability and dependability.
• Forklift experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Gritty, outgoing, and eager to learn.
