Responsibilities

• Determining the required tools, materials, and welding method necessary for the job
• Assembling, installing, and repairing components according to specifications
• Inspecting welding equipment, materials, and tools
• Welding repairs to tools and equipment
• Preparing and aligning materials to be welded
• Lifting 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
• Responsible for inventory of all welding supplies and other items

Requirements

• 2 years welding experience
• Working overtime when necessary
• Following all OSHA and other safety standards
• Experience with Stick, MIG and Oxy/Acetylene
• Experience welding steel casing
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be team oriented
• MUST pass a pre-employment drug test and continue to pass ongoing drug and alcohol testing per company policy
• OSHA 10-hour course training (preferred)
• CDL (preferred)
• Previous construction or underground utility experience (preferred)
• 1st Aid / CPR (preferred)
