The Welder position involves preparing surfaces for welding, fitting parts, and welding piping and manifolds according to blueprint specifications. The role may also include using plasma cutters for cutting steel materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surfaces to be welded and fits parts.
• Welds piping and manifolds.
• Cuts, grinds, drills holes, and welds steel to blueprint specifications.
• May use plasma cutter to cut I-beams and steel plates.
• Tack welds scrap metal to outline.
