Overview
The Mig Welder position requires candidates with Mig Welding experience to work for a company that provides high quality and professional services for government agencies across the US and overseas. The role offers a 4 day work week and full-time hours.
Responsibilities
- Using specialized equipment to assemble metal components.
- Reading blueprints.
- Operating MIG welding machines, including adjusting gas flow, amperage, voltage, and wire feed speed.
- Inspecting finished welds for defects such as cracks or porosity to meet industry standards.
Requirements
- Previous Mig Welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, using hand tools, and understanding metal properties.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
