Overview

IMMEC Inc is seeking skilled Industrial Pipe Fitters/Welders to complete complex industrial mechanical and process piping projects for various industrial clients. Candidates must possess knowledge of mathematics and mechanics while adhering to safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Welding and metal fabrication.
• Pipe fitting and joining.
• Operation of shop equipment.
• Reading prints and schematics.
• Fabrication and installation of process piping systems.
• Fabrication and installation of mechanical piping systems.
• Monitoring the welding and fitting process for compliance with industry best practices.
• Maintaining and organizing tools, equipment, and the overall work site.
• Ensuring job quality and schedule compliance.
• Performing SMAW welding and field fabrication; TIG, GMAW, and FCAW skills are a plus.
• Rigging and serving as a signal person is a plus.
• Conducting industrial maintenance and repair.
• Operating aerial man lifts and powered fork truck lifts.
• Performing emergency repairs.

Requirements

• Able to commute to various job sites.
• Plans pipe routes.
• Fabricates pipe hangers.
• Cuts, welds, and fabricates piping per project design.
• Ability to use precision tools like calipers for accurate measurements.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical machinery and parts.
• Ability to read diagrams, schematics, and service manuals.
• Knowledge of the properties of metal and other materials.
• Planning and problem-solving skills.
• Able to obtain OSHA 30 Certification.
• Safety focused.

• Schedule includes 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts, with day, night, and weekend availability.
