Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator specializing in TIG welding. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse fabrication projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and mechanical skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on various metals, including sheet metal and pipe components.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication processes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal parts.
- Fabricate complex assemblies such as ductwork, structural supports, and piping systems for construction or manufacturing projects.
- Conduct rigging and crane operations safely when positioning heavy components or materials on-site or in the shop.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols related to welding, machining, and construction site activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in TIG welding.
- Familiarity with MIG welding (FCAW) and Soldering is a plus for versatile fabrication tasks.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely is preferred.
