Overview
JST is a leading expert in wet bench design and a trusted global provider of wet process and precision cleaning technology solutions for various industries. The Steel Fabricator (TIG Welder) position involves fabricating metal components using TIG welding and adhering to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Utilize engineering blueprints for fabrication of metal component parts and assemblies.
- Read and follow work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Competently fabricate, weld, and finish Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Mild Steel.
- Use metalworking tools, power hand tools, and welding equipment safely.
- Utilize measuring instruments and follow quality procedures.
- Track job labor and material usage using shop floor control software.
- Maintain equipment and contribute to the cleanliness of the shop.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks to support manufacturing, engineering, quality, and quoting departments.
- Work cooperatively with team members and communicate design constraints.
- Able to work in various physical positions and lift up to 50lbs.
- Work up to 10 hours of mandatory overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Able to read blueprints, work orders, and project specifications.
- Able to utilize precision equipment such as calipers.
- Able to TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) weld various materials.
- Technical degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Able to produce accurate and quality parts on schedule.
- Able to use power hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Cleans and maintains equipment in good working order.
- Must pass the TIG Welding Test.

Additional Information
- Starting wage range is $19.00 - $24.00 per hour.
- Available shift is Monday-Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm.
