Overview

C.A. Jones, Inc. is hiring 1st Class Pipe Welders for long-term national defense work in Pascagoula, MS. Per diem is available for qualified non-local personnel, and applicants must pass various pre-employment tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding procedures on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel pipe using GTAW and SMAW.
• Work in a shipyard environment that may involve different heights, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions.
• Be available to work day or night shifts depending on production needs.
• Adhere to safety procedures that meet or exceed industry standards.
• Pass military standard X-Ray welding test on stainless steel and copper nickel in the 6G position.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of pipe welding experience.
• Experience in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
• Ability to pass a Background Investigation, Hair Follicle drug screen, Respirator Fit test, and Audiogram.
