Overview
The Stainless Steel Tank Welder/Fabricator position involves specialized welding and fabricating duties in the custom tank industry, with pay based on TIG welding skill level and tank building experience. The role requires proficiency in multiple welding processes and the ability to work various shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform specialized welding and fabricating duties relating to the custom tank industry.
- Layout and fabricate metal assemblies and weldments.
- Use structural welding, forming, and various other fabrication processes.
- Weld different types of metals including stainless steel and mild steel.
- Use grinders, flex shafts, drills, and other hand tools.
- Interpret tank prints and welding symbols to complete tasks per blueprint specifications.
- Maintain records of time and report according to job numbers.
- Communicate safety or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Perform housekeeping and organizational duties to maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
- Ability to analyze and interpret written instructions.
- Basic math skills for calculations of amounts and sizes.
- Ability to solve practical problems and analyze data.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Additional Information
- 2nd Shift: 4 days, 10 hours (4:30pm - 3:00am)
- 3rd Shift: 5 days, 7 hours per day but paid for 8 hours (12:00am - 7:00am)
- Background checks and drug tests required.
