Komline is a leader in advanced separation technologies, known for engineering excellence and innovative design. The Welder III position is critical for ensuring ASME pressure vessels meet quality standards, requiring skilled welders with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Join, fabricate, and repair metal components using advanced welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics to determine the appropriate welding process for each project.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness and compliance with safety standards.
• Set up and maintain welding equipment, preparing materials and setting up welding devices or robots.
• Handle and apply welding flux materials, performing all types and phases of welding work.
• Train and mentor junior welders, sharing expertise and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in welding is preferred.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, knowledge of metallurgy, material properties, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Welding test will be administered.
• 7+ years of welding experience.
• 5+ years of experience with MIG, TIG and/or Sub Arc welding.
• Ability to work without supervision while also working within a larger team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
