Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and execute welding repairs on mobile equipment.
• Learn new skills and teach others to improve as individuals and as a team.
• Perform other functions and duties assigned by the Supervisor.
• Follow safe work procedures and best practices.
• Fabricate parts, structures, and tools with or without prints or plans.

Requirements

• Positive attitude.
• Ability to prioritize, self-start, and work under limited supervision.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Willingness to perform other duties as necessary for KGHM's success.
• A valid Driver’s License.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Welding Trade School, Certifications or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Welding and/or cutting skills with Oxy-Acetylene, SMAW (ARC), FCAW-G (MIG), Plasma, and Air-Carbon Arc Cutting.
• Ability to read and understand prints and/or plans and operate all fabrication equipment.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to meet physical demands, exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
