Overview

We are the national premier boat building company for the recreation industry, specializing in tough boats with first-class welds. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to work in a team environment and build the best boats in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building the core structure of hulls as a JIG welder.
• Build and weld all boat models to specification.
• Install ribs, gunwales, and bow cap.
• Install and weld subfloor, hull bracing, foam bulkheads, and hoses within allotted time.
• Set up a welder and operate it efficiently without supervision.

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions and simple math.
• Capable of using basic hand tools.
• Maintain connection and communication among employees and management.
• Attention to detail to ensure high quality and safety.
• Lead by example and train employees in your department.
• Capable of performing essential duties in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Ability to stand all day and perform repetitive tasks.
• Required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
• Great socialization and communication skills.
• High school or GED graduate preferred.
• Fabrication experience is preferred.
