Job Description

Overview

We are a small, growing mobile welding and fabrication business dedicated to providing high-quality, reliable welding services to our clients. We’re looking to add a motivated and skilled welder/fabricator to our team who is ready to take on a variety of projects in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks on various materials on-site.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and weld materials.
  • Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure and other measuring tools.
  • Ensure all welding and fabrication work is performed to meet industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve welding and fabrication issues as they arise during the project.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors regarding project timelines, expectations, and challenges.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain safe working conditions at all times.
  • Maintain professionalism while representing the company on job sites.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Clean driving record for driving company vehicle to job sites.
  • Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with expertise in MIG, TIG, Stick welding, and other techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to pass a welding test during the interview process.
  • Must be punctual and reliable—consistent attendance is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Certification in welding or fabrication (e.g., AWS, ASME).
  • Previous mobile welding or on-site project experience.
  • Experience in a variety of welding and fabrication materials and techniques.
