Overview

As a Welder Assembler in Wind Tower Fabrication, you will perform welding sequences in manufacturing parts, collaborating with the technical team and supervisors to ensure high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze blueprints and production documents.
• Prepare work of joints and welding; select the right equipment, prepare the joints, perform tracing and take measurements.
• Perform welding and assembly sequences in accordance with various welding processes.
• Respect welding dimensions and requirements according to established specifications.
• Complete proper production and quality documents.
• Inspect parts in collaboration with the quality department.

Requirements

• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders; work at heights.
• Lift and carry between 30-50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Bend, kneel, squat, twist, reach.
• Work above shoulders.
• Tolerate exposure to weather and hot/cold environments.
• Diploma/training in Welding or relevant training (or equivalence) is an asset.
• Relevant experience is an asset.
