Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our production team! In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency, helping us produce high-quality products that meet strict safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication specifications.
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and welding techniques to join metal components accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble sheet metal and ductwork.
- Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure parts meet exact dimensions.
- Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks.
- Fabricate components for construction projects, manufacturing units, or custom assemblies following ASME codes & standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding processes; experience with <LOCATION> welding preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, soldering, machining operations, and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with rigging practices for lifting heavy components safely on-site or in the shop.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Experience working with various sheet metals and structural steel in manufacturing environment.
