The TIG Production Welder role involves performing welding operations to fabricate and assemble components, ensuring product quality and supporting production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks ensuring components are fabricated accurately to required specifications.
• Execute MIG, TIG, or other welding processes based on production and engineering requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to complete welding assignments correctly.
• Prepare materials, set up welding equipment, and position components for welding operations.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Identify defects and perform rework as needed.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Record production output, quality results, and rework activities accurately.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding quality and production efficiency.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification in welding preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in welding or fabrication within manufacturing environments required.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or other welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Basic knowledge of metallurgy, materials, and welding processes preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced production environments and meet production targets.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills within manufacturing settings.
