Overview

Colson Group USA, the largest manufacturer of caster and wheel products in the world, is seeking a Robotic Welder for their Jonesboro, AR manufacturing location for 1st and 2nd shift. This safety-sensitive position involves supporting the welding department with various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Locate the correct components to be welded from the production schedule.
• Set up components on the robotic welder.
• Weld components as required.
• Perform all necessary quality checks.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock outs.
• Conduct patch work on welded components.
• Support operators running automatic and robotic machines.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Read blueprints as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Additional Information

• 2nd shift hours are from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.
• Position is located in Jonesboro, AR.
