C&W Services is a leader in maintenance and janitorial programs for various facilities. The Welding & Pipefitting Technician role involves performing welding and pipefitting tasks in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on tanks, vessels, piping systems, and structural systems.
• Layout and fabricate new and replacement piping systems.
• Install valves and related piping equipment.
• Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards and provide feedback on service delivery.
• Read blueprints and interpret isometric diagrams.
• Weld components using various welding equipment.
• Cut workpieces using powered saws or hand tools.
• Install or repair equipment such as lead pipes and valves.
• Conduct tests on welded surfaces to evaluate weld quality.
• Inspect grooves and angles using precision measuring instruments.
• Weld components in various positions.
• Communicate with team members for planning and development.
• Maintain personal tools and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

• AA degree in Welding preferred, but not required.
• 0-2+ years of Industrial Pipe Fitting, Pipe Welding, and Repairs experience.
• Certification required.
• 1-2 years of education in industrial maintenance technologies preferred.

• Location: Wahpeton, ND
• Hours: Mon- Thurs. 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• $3000 Sign On Bonus or $5000 Relocation Bonus to qualified candidates
• Weekly pay on Fridays.
