Aerobraze, a division of Wall Colmonoy, manufactures turbine engine components and has a dedicated team of over 50 skilled professionals in a 90,000-square foot facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. Responsibilities

• Fabricate and join metal parts in an aerospace environment using Tig/Mig welding techniques.
• Create quality welds according to provided routers.
• Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used safely with all safety devices in use.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment affecting quality, productivity, or safety.
• Inspect and identify weld imperfections.
• Identify weld wire and electrode identifiers.
• Read, evaluate, and respond to product specifications and drawings.
• Adhere to standards and procedures regarding traceability.
• Read and understand instructions for quality and safety.

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent.
• 1-year professional work experience and/or training.
• Proficiency in understanding and recognizing weld symbols with basic understanding of welding terminology.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• AWS D17.1 qualified on one or two basic materials (e.g., stainless or aluminum).
• Can perform tack welds and basic fusion welds under supervision.
