Overview

The Welder position on the 2nd shift at Magna involves inspecting and repairing welds to ensure quality parts are delivered on time, while adhering to company policies and supporting the Magna Employee’s Charter. Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair welds as needed to ensure quality parts.
• Meet or exceed customer requirements for timely delivery.
• Support the Magna Employee’s Charter and company policies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary education preferred or 1+ years of welding experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Must be able to pass and maintain welding proficiency.
• Must be able to detect and repair all weld defects within your zone.
• Understanding of weld terminology.
