Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team, responsible for fabricating components and structures according to specifications while ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with industry codes. The ideal candidate will have pipe yard experience and a strong understanding of construction site practices.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and materials required for fabrication.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment, including stick welding, to assemble and fabricate metal components.
• Measure dimensions accurately using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in fabrication.
• Construct ductwork and other structural elements in accordance with established codes and standards.
• Operate cranes safely to lift heavy materials and components during the fabrication process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that arise during the fabrication process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a fabrication or construction environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
• Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and welding techniques is required.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to fabrication is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Would require passing a welding test at our Channelview location.
