Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Fabrication Shop Helper to assist our Lead Fabricator in a busy fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of power tools, construction, or general shop work and be comfortable working with wood and metal materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Fabricator with daily shop tasks
• Cut, measure, and prepare wood and metal doors
• Help prep and assemble metal door frames
• Operate basic power tools and shop equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety guidelines and shop procedures
• Support other fabrication tasks as needed

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of power tools, construction, or fabrication work
• Ability to measure, cut, and handle materials accurately
• Welding experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift materials and work in a shop environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Additional Information

• Job Site Location: Dallas, TX 75220
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch), Some Saturdays may be required
• 40 hours per week plus overtime opportunities
