The job is for a Solid Surface Fabricator responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling solid surface materials. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Cut, shape, and assemble solid surface materials using routers, saws, and CNC machines.
- Sand, polish, and detail surfaces to achieve a seamless, high-quality finish.
- Glue, seam, and reinforce materials with substrate (like MDF).
- Review technical drawings/blueprints and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proficiency with hand tools (routers, sanders, saws).
- Ability to read tape measures and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in cabinet making, stone fabrication, or general construction is usually required.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
