Overview

The CNC Operator position involves setting up and operating CNC machines for kitchen cabinet fabrication, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe work environment. The role requires effective communication and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines by loading tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Verify machine settings and program parameters are correct before cutting.
• Operate CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies.
• Recognize different material types.
• Identify worn tooling and changes in the machine as required.
• Verify quality of completed product or batch and inspect for quality control.
• Report defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions, or non-compliant products to the manager.
• Operate manual machines such as table saws and bench drill presses.
• Use hand-held tools, electrical tools, and/or pneumatic tools.
• Utilize precision measuring tools as required.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including in-process production sheets.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform basic machine maintenance.

Requirements

• Experience as a CNC Operator.
• Proficient in machine setup, tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments.
• Knowledge of G-code programming is a plus.
• Understanding of machining principles, tool selection, and CNC machine operation.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting on the CNC independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Bilingual, with proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to drive a forklift.
• Friendly and positive attitude.
