Overview
A busy construction and container company is seeking a skilled and reliable welder with hands-on experience in working on roll-off dumpsters, containers, and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate should take pride in strong, clean welds and be able to thrive in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Repairing and reinforcing dumpsters and roll-off containers
- Welding floors, rails, doors, and structural components
- Fabricating and modifying metal parts as needed
- Performing light work on trucks and heavy equipment
- Diagnosing damage and making long-lasting repairs
Requirements
- Strong experience in MIG and Stick welding; TIG is a plus
- Ability to fabricate including cutting, fitting, and reinforcing
- Experience with heavy steel and equipment repair
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced shop environment
