Overview

An established plastics shop specializing in acrylics is hiring a Fabricator / Saw Operator. The role primarily involves operating saws with additional general fabrication work.

Responsibilities

• Operate panel saws and table saws as the main part of the day.
• Cut, polish, assemble, and finish acrylic and plastic components.
• Run additional shop equipment as needed, including routers, sanders, drills, and heat benders.
• Work from cut sheets and collaborate with the fabrication team on custom jobs.
• Keep your station clean, safe, and organized.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with saws in a plastics, wood, or metal shop.
• Comfort with hand and power tools and ability to read measurements accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in clean cuts and tight tolerances.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well independently and on a team.
