Overview

A busy sign shop in Queens, NY is seeking a skilled, hands-on fabricator/installer focused on building, assembling, and installing custom signage across NYC.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate signage using acrylic, PVC, aluminum, metal, ACM/Dibond, and wood.
• Build channel letters, light boxes, panels, ADA, and wayfinding signage.
• Cut, route, sand, assemble, and finish materials.
• Apply vinyl to walls, windows, and substrates with clean, bubble-free results.
• Install interior/exterior signage, murals, and graphics.
• Install wayfinding and architectural signage.
• Measure, level, mount, and troubleshoot on-site.
• Maintain quality, organization, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers.

Requirements

• English speaking is a must.
• Clean driver's license is a must.
• 3+ years of sign fabrication and installation experience.
• Ability to read drawings and measure accurately.
• Ability to work independently.
• Detail-oriented and able to lift 50+ lbs and use ladders.
• Strong understanding of mounting methods and field conditions.
• OSHA certification (SST preferred).
• Spanish speaking and communicating is a plus.
