Overview
Atlantic Design, Inc is a leader in the design of custom equipment for the blasting and coating industry, seeking Manufacturing Mechanics with a strong work ethic for a full-time position in the Baltimore area. The role involves mechanical and welding tasks to assemble parts and install components in equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble stock parts and install pre-fabricated structural components.
- Join, repair, and perform light fabrication of metal and other weldable materials.
- Apply appropriate welding techniques and operate various welding, fitting, and fabrication tools.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Maintain productivity and quality output.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year mechanical, assembly, and manufacturing experience required.
- Training and/or prior experience with Mig welding required.
- Strong hand/power tool knowledge and experience required.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Good general math skills and ability to read tape measure.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Dependable with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols preferred.
- Must be capable of physical demands including lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
- Must have a driver's license.
- Must be willing to work overtime.
- Must be able to pass Drug screening test.

Additional Information
- Work hours are typically Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
- Overtime will be required.
