Overview

Checkpoint Welding and Fabrication, a family-owned general job-shop, is seeking a Fabricator to join their team. This position offers a variety of daily tasks and challenges in a reliable and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate shop equipment primarily in the shearing and saw cutting departments.
• Inspect and ensure the production of quality parts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area for efficient operation.

Requirements

• Ability to visualize and interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Manufacture quality parts by referring to provided drawings.
• Ability to use basic inspection equipment like calipers and height gauges.
• Programming and operating a shear.
• Programming and operating an automatic saw.
• Press brake programming or operating is a huge plus.
• At least two years of related mechanical/shop experience preferred.
• Ability to understand, follow, and issue routine oral and written instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Additional Information

• Swing Shift Monday thru Thursday 7:30-5:30.
• Full-Time Position.
