Overview

Steel Fabrication Shop is seeking a qualified and experienced Field Welder / Steel Erector/Field Foremen with a strong work ethic to join their team. This position is ideal for a well-rounded professional with a solid background in structural and miscellaneous steel installation who can work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabrication, and steel erection in the field.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, and customers.
• Enforce company policies, job site procedures, and OSHA safety regulations.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and lead by example.

Requirements

• Valid, non-restricted driver’s license.
• 5–7 years of experience in the steel or iron working industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read drawings and fabricate in the field.
• Must be able to obtain welding certifications.
• Own hand tools and reliable transportation.
• Fluent in English.
