Overview

Applications are being accepted for a welder position at Kelco in Norwalk. The position may be part-time, temporary, or full-time, and involves various welding tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Welding and assembling stand up cabinets and pressure vessels.
• Shearing, press break, punching, and grinding.
• Operating shear, press brake, iron worker, cutting torch, grinder, power tools, and plasma arc torch.
• Maintaining production paperwork.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs.
• Must speak, read, and write English.
• Pre-employment physical and drug test required.
• 2 years welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand fractions.
• Welding certifications are desirable.
