Overview

Ampco Tubes is seeking experienced welders to join their production team in a fabrication facility specializing in mandrel tube bending. The position requires proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on thin wall tubing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG weld on thin wall tubing using a weld positioner.
• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminized steel, and aluminum.
• Achieve precise fit-ups and quality welds while meeting production standards.
• Perform a welding test.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Welding experience is required; certification is preferred.
• Ability to learn industry and welding requirements through hands-on training.
• Understand quality standards and produce quality work.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Read and understand manufacturing plans and prints.
• Use Windows-based computer software for timekeeping.
• Willingness to submit to a background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to consistently work full-time hours (40 per week).
• Communicate inability to report for work.
