Overview
Green PNW is a small, locally owned company seeking full-time welders and fabricators to build metal products for the refuse industry, including roll-off dumpsters and waste container bins. The position is suitable for individuals of all experience levels, with a focus on production-oriented work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Weld, fabricate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to production.
- Maintain welding equipment.
- Read prints, layout, fit-up, welding, quality control.
- Operate other shop equipment such as grinder, saw, forklift, crane, and plasma torch.
Requirements
- Experience in MIG/GMAW welding, particularly with spray arc mig process averaging 550-700 IPM.
- Ability to read shop drawings and maintain attention to detail.
- Self-starter capable of working off little to no drawings with verbal directions.
- Fitter/fabricator experience or heavy industrial fabrication experience is a plus.
- Ability to organize work plans and communicate effectively with other fabrication personnel.
- Understanding of manufacturing methods and techniques.
