Marine Welding

Overview

Mavrik Marine Inc. is seeking skilled Marine Welders to join their team in building high-quality commercial marine vessels. Founded in 2010, the company is dedicated to craftsmanship and quality, providing on-the-job training and career growth opportunities in the marine industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic fillet welds using the GMAW (MIG) process with minimal rework.
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Understand and apply Mavrik’s fundamental welding and fabrication details.
• Operate company tools and equipment, including drill press, chop saw, and overhead cranes.
• Maintain and use your own basic hand tools.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures.
• Measure, cut, and tack-weld aluminum using a MIG welding machine.
• Take directions from leads and journeyman co-workers.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Welder Lead.

Additional Information

• 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)
• Located in La Conner, WA.
• Work in over 75,000 sq. ft. of climate-controlled production space.
